Toddler Program (1.5–2.5 Years)
At Language Garden Montessori, our Toddler Program offers a nurturing start for children aged 1.5 to 2.5 years. This is a time when children are developing rapidly—physically, emotionally, and socially—and our thoughtfully designed environment supports that growth every step of the way.
One of the most unique aspects of our program is our blended bilingual classroom, where toddlers are gently introduced to both Mandarin and English in a natural and immersive way. Language is learned through songs, books, conversations, and classroom routines, helping children develop early communication skills across both languages.
Guided by Montessori principles, we allow toddlers to explore at their own pace while providing just enough structure to help them feel secure and confident. With caring, attentive teachers and a calm, beautiful classroom setting, toddlers develop independence, concentration, and a strong sense of self.
From pouring water to choosing their own work, every experience is designed to build life skills and spark curiosity. We believe that even our youngest learners are capable, and we give them the tools to prove it.

Blended English & Mandarin Instruction
In our toddler classrooms, children hear and use both Mandarin and English throughout their day. Instead of separating languages by time or space, we blend them seamlessly into songs, storytelling, and guided activities. This exposure during the earliest years of brain development makes bilingualism feel natural and fun, supporting stronger cognitive flexibility and memory as children grow.
A Clean, Safe Space to Explore
Health and safety are essential to learning. Our toddler rooms are meticulously maintained, with medical-grade air filters, hourly sanitizing practices, and a commitment to keeping things spotless. The calm, peaceful atmosphere helps toddlers feel secure, which allows them to take intellectual and emotional risks as they explore the world around them.
Art, Movement, and Sensory Discovery
We believe creativity begins early. Toddlers are surrounded by inspiration—from original adult artwork on the walls to finger paints and modeling clay they can explore themselves. Every sensory-rich experience is an opportunity to build neural connections, express emotions, and discover something new. Children are encouraged to move, create, and investigate with guidance that respects their independence.
Practical Life Skills
In true Montessori fashion, toddlers practice real-world tasks like washing their hands, watering plants, and choosing their own materials. These activities build motor coordination and self-confidence. They also help toddlers feel empowered to make choices and understand the rhythms of their daily life—skills that carry over into preschool and beyond.
Laying the Foundation for Lifelong Learning
The toddler years are a once-in-a-lifetime window for development. During this short but critical stage, children form the building blocks of language, empathy, independence, and identity. Our Toddler Program at Language Garden Montessori is designed to make the most of this time, blending the structure of Montessori with the richness of bilingual education.
Children leave the toddler program not only with emerging language and motor skills but with a growing sense of curiosity and self-worth. They learn that they are capable, valued, and ready to take on new challenges in the preschool years.
